REGENSBERG Szlama Ber
REGENSBERG Szlama Ber (1866–1949), merchant. Born 21 V 1866 in Zdunska Wola. Son of Hersz Wolf (20 IV 1847 Zloczew – 10 X 1892 Lodz) and Hinda Ella  nee Potocka (28 V 1846 Zdunska Wola – ?). He moved to Lodz relatively early already at the turn of the XIX and XX century. He was a member of the Credit Society of the City of Lodz, already before the WWI owned a wool warehouse located in his house at 10, Nowomiejska Street, and between the wars owned a workshop, located at 22, Nowomiejska Street. He resided then at 23, Pomorska Street.
As one of the few members of the family, he left for Palestine before the outbreak of the WWII. Lived to see the establishment of the State of Israel, died in Jerusalem 11 III 1949. Married to Ruchla Raca nee Olsztein  (9 III 1866 Ozorkow – 15 VIII 1949 Jerusalem), he had, besides Moszek Luzer, 14 children (all of them born in Lodz):
Dawid (27 II 1885 – ?), Meir Lemel (13 I 1887 – ?), Hersz Wolf (15 III 1893 – ?), Szejna Chaja (ur. 4 III 1891), Tauba Laja (15 III 1893 – ?), Sura Fajga (2 II 1895 –?), Ruda (Roza) (2 V 1897 – ?), Liwcia Chenia (22 IV 1898 – 1933 Israel), Cypora (Pola) (4 III 1900 – 27 XI 1979 Israel), Jochewet (Ewa) (1 III 1901 – 1989 Israel), Mindla (Mina) (1 I 1903 – ?), Chaim Mendel (Mietek Marcel) (4 XII 1904 – 1979 London), Abram Lajb (Leon) (5 XII 1906 – 25 V 1977 Paris) i Eliasz (born 1908), died as a baby.
